Our service

Medialab-Festival is the online ticket shop of Medialab-Festival. Here you find events, choose tickets and – where there is a seating plan – your seats, pay online and receive your ticket immediately.

How buying a ticket works

  1. Find an event Via the home page, categories, search or the calendar.
  2. Choose tickets or seats Choose ticket type and quantity; with seating plans, pick your seat in the plan, in the seat list or via the best-seat search.
  3. Details and payment Enter your name and e-mail address and choose a payment method. Depending on the method, payment is handled by the payment provider.
  4. Receive ticket You receive a confirmation in the shop and by e-mail with all ticket details and the ticket code.
  5. Admission At the entrance, show your ticket code – on your smartphone, printed or as a wallet ticket.

How the shop meets the requirements

Use without a mouse
All functions – including menus, seating plan and checkout – can be operated with the keyboard. A skip link leads directly to the content.
Visible focus
The active element is clearly highlighted when using the keyboard.
Readable colours
Text and controls reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 : 1 – including in the organiser’s brand colours.
Seating plan with alternative
Choose seats in the seating plan by mouse, touch or arrow keys – or without any graphics using the seat list or the automatic best-seat search.
Screen readers
Pages are structured with headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, images have text alternatives and the page language is declared.
Zoom and reflow
Content can be zoomed to 200 % and adapts to narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
Reduced motion
If you have enabled “reduce motion” on your device, the shop does without animations.
Reservation time
Selected seats are held for you for 15 minutes; the remaining time is shown. The limit is necessary so that seats remain fairly available to everyone.
